Cost depends on the size, the placement, the level of detail and the artist. We do not publish rates. Once we have seen your request, we discuss it openly. A calm, honest conversation about price is part of every booking.

Yes. A consultation to talk through the design, the placement and the size is part of the process before any work begins. There is no obligation to proceed straight away.
The sensation is subjective and varies with placement, size and your own sensitivity. Most people find it more manageable than they expected. The ribs, sternum and inner elbow tend to be more sensitive. The outer arm and calf are usually easier.
Sleep well the night before. Eat a proper meal and stay hydrated. Avoid alcohol for twenty-four hours beforehand. Wear loose clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed. Bring a valid ID.

Keep the area clean. Wash it gently with mild soap and lukewarm water, then apply a thin layer of fragrance-free moisturiser. Avoid sun, saunas, pools and salt water for at least three weeks. Do not pick or scratch. The outer skin usually heals in two to three weeks; the deeper layers take longer.
Fine line work asks for slightly more attentive aftercare than bolder styles. Placement matters: areas under constant friction, such as palms and inner fingers, fade sooner. A touch-up may be needed once the skin has fully healed. Your artist talks this through at the consultation.
Keep the tattoo out of direct sun for at least three weeks. Once it has healed, use a high-SPF sunscreen on the area to protect the pigment over time.
